A woman stood still on a cliff in a storm
Watching the swaying where her lover was lorn
"I want her, I must." The sea did exclaim.
"I need what this woman carries in her veins."
Lightning broke sharp as the wind laughed away
"This child of the land will die in loves way."
She was flung from the peak to the black, cashing waves
"Devour and drown her." The wind did exclaim.
The ghosts of the past chanted in reverie
"Drag her down deeper than you did with we.
Make her one with the bottom of the sea."
So she did sink but remained with the living.
"Howl, dead, soused wolves.
Lament for her life.
Gather together a pack.
Steed her quickly to me.
Bare your teeth to her wrists.
Flow the blood out free.
Devour her not, let decay.
Make her one with the sea."
Her flesh soon swept away with deep tides.
Bones bleached white in the churning of time.
"I want her, forever. I will never let go.
The blue of her blood, in me now it does flow."
The creatures in it surely twisted in rot.
The oceans all swallowed the land in their sot.
The wind did exclaim "We conquer the beasts!
Back to the sea with them. All will be not!"
Black clouds and lightning, the might of the sky.
Black waves and thunder, the terrible sea.
"With her sorrow forlorn we ravish the earth.
With her curse now our own we contend with no mirth"
Cackle, hyenas of silt.
Gnaw on her bones to the hilt.
Bring her soul back to life.
Make her a chariot of fire.
That which pains her, pains all.
Queen of the victorious fall.
"He died by the fates set path.
The fates will now feel my wrath."
