Vestigiality and a Kiss

Damn the tears that will not come,
Damn the memories and the sun
With blades of glass and anthrax
Leaving poison when he's gone,
Releasing demons from the past.

Damn the echoes of the mind,
Damn the words written in time
On stone-like hearts in caskets
Breeding bondages and binds,
Holding close the feeble spine.

Damn the silhouetted threat,
Damn the Holy arms that kept
From what they named 'The Doom'
In broken hope to heal the dead,
Grim and gone, returning soon.

Bless the eyes that always saw,
Bless the heart that grows in tow,
Bless the flower of the day,
Bless the gold that would not go,
Bless the kiss sent truth and way.
